Drink one 32-ounce bottle of apple juice or 8-ounce bottle of tart cherry juice each day. Avoid drinking the juice just before or during meals, and wait 1-2 hours after meals. Finish the juice by 6 p.m. each night. Also drink plenty of water, but avoid ice-cold foods and drinks that chill the liver. Try to eat light and avoid animal protein.
Cleanse your colon with colonic hydrotherapy or a water enema before the liver flush, preferably day 6, and again afterward to eliminate gallstones more quickly and prevent much of the nausea and discomfort that can arise.
Finish your last bottle of apple juice or tart cherry juice (or other malic acid) in the morning. Eat no-fat meals for breakfast and lunch. Also avoid sugar, spices, and processed food.
1:30 PM - Stop eating, and do not drink anything except water.
6:00 PM - Mix the Epsom salt and water, then divide into four 3/4-cup portions. If you can't tolerate Epsom salt, use magnesium citrate instead. Drink your first serving, followed by a few sips of water if desired.
8:00 PM - Drink 3/4 cup Epsom salt water (or magnesium citrate).
9:30 PM - If you have not yet had a bowel movement, do a water enema. A congested colon can limit the number of stones you release.
9:45 PM - Squeeze the citrus juice into a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Add the olive oil and shake to combine. Be ready to drink the mixture at 10:00 p.m., although you may delay 10-15 minutes if you are still having bowel movements.
10:00 PM - Try to drink the mixture fast, within 5 minutes, and lie down fast. Use a large straw or plug your nose if necessary to get it down. Quickly brush your teeth to eliminate the taste if desired. Turn off the light and lie on your back with one or two pillows propping your head above your abdomen. Or lie on your right side with your knees pulled toward your chest and your head elevated. Stay still 20 minutes, then go to sleep, but not on your stomach. Try to stay in bed, but get up if you need to have a bowel movement. Look for green or tan stones floating in the toilet.
6:00 AM - Drink a glass of warm water then 3/4 cup Epsom salt water (or magnesium citrate). Relax. Go to sleep if you like, but it is best to keep your body upright.
8:00 AM - Drink your last 3/4 cup Epsom salt water (or magnesium citrate).
10:00 AM - Drink fruit juice. Thirty minutes later, you may eat one or two pieces of fruit. An hour later, you may eat normally but light. By evening or the next morning, you should start feeling normal or even improved. Continue to eat light the next two to three days.
Use the basic liver flush schedule as a reference for day 6 if that's easier for you. The preparation is the main difference.
